Vision
In LuxPulse we deal with future: the keyword for all our concepts and products is innovation. This is the hinge idea that emerges through design. For us, Design is a synonym of interface, which is the essence of the object. An example may explain the concept. Let’s imagine we have a chair. This chair expresses an interface both in its aesthetical spatial presence and in its sitting functionality. In a lamp, instead, the interface is more complex and richer. It is, for example, the way the lamp illuminates, the color or the direction of its light, but also the way I can control it, if there is a presence sensor or, instead, if I have to use a switch to turn it on or off. Therefore, in this way, the essence of the object expresses itself through its interfacing with the world, while design conveys and tunes up the expression of this essence, of the object-world interface, in brief, it regulates how the object expresses itself.
LuxPulse mainly designs lighting products using LED light source. Light is communication, it reveals spaces, faces, objects. It creates our environment, transforming and adapting it to the different moments of our day, making it relaxing or, for example, more suitable for working, in a continuous feedback between the light source and our lifestyle. The LED is tiny, point source that can be placed everywhere. Thanks to its versatility and flexibility, it allows dynamism, becoming a pixel of the real world, which conveys light information in space, on objects, in our daily lives.
In addition, LED is eco-friendly and efficient. Its dynamism allows us to achieve an important energy saving, more sustainable for the environment. LuxPulse dialogues with the institutions and with the energy management companies, proposing solutions for indoor and outdoor urban lighting with remote-controlled LED that cut down significantly the maintenance costs.
For LuxPulse, communication is interaction. Not just between people and objects, but between the objects themselves, connected in a wireless net. Our concepts are not just dealing with the way people use objects, but mainly with how the connected objects behave among themselves, revealing new scena ries, before unthinkable.
When an object communicates and it is possible to elaborate its information, it is no longer as it was before: the object becomes intelligent and it expresses the designer’s will. When a lamp changes it intensity according to traffic flow, it expresses man’s will that the object has to adapt automatically to environmental changes. For LuxPulse, will, intelligence and interaction are the keys to a future that is available today.
